HISTORY
Alberto Crocco’s work is shaped by a lifelong dialogue between material, memory, and emotion.
Raised by an Italian stonemason, he developed an early understanding of craft, discipline, and the quiet intelligence of working with his hands. But it was through childhood travels to Italy that a deeper imprint was formed. Standing within ancient churches and monuments, he witnessed the power of sculpture to evoke awe, stillness, and connection. These were objects people travelled across the world to experience, yet they remained untouchable, preserved at a distance.
That tension became the foundation of his practice.
Through Crosini, Alberto creates sculptural objects designed not only to be observed, but to be lived with. Pieces that invite touch, interaction, and gathering. Objects that carry presence within the everyday.
Working with concrete, stone, and mineral-based materials, each piece is conceived to endure, drawing from the same principles that have allowed ancient architecture to stand for centuries. The intention is not just to create furniture, but to form lasting artefacts, objects that hold meaning, evolve with time, and become part of the lives that surround them.
