A refined and intimate commission, Aura is a sculptural bathroom vanity designed for a private residence in Potts Point, balancing softness, precision, and quiet material expression.

Wall hung and deliberately petite in scale, the piece is defined by its integrated basin and enveloping splashback, formed as a continuous composition. A gently radiused vertical plane extends beyond the basin, wrapping subtly to the side, creating a sense of protection and enclosure while maintaining visual lightness. This relationship between elements establishes a calm, cohesive geometry, where each transition is resolved through softened curves and seamless junctions.

The basin itself is quietly expressive, with rounded edges that echo the upper radius of the splashback, creating a unified language of form. Cast in ultra high performance concrete, the surface retains a subtle off form finish, lightly refined and sealed to preserve its natural character and depth.

Custom brass tapware emerges directly from the splashback, reinforcing the purity of the composition and eliminating visual interruption.

Both functional and sculptural, Aura introduces a moment of stillness within the architectural space.
