Set within the coastal landscape of Byron Bay, the Lighthouse project brings together a series of custom sculptural pieces designed to sit quietly within a highly resolved interior.
The dining table is conceived as a four metre composition, formed through a series of individually cast elements that read as a single, continuous surface. It is anchored by two monolithic bases, finished in a rammed earth inspired gradient that grounds the piece within its natural context. Subtle exposures of Italian marble emerge through the surface, introducing moments of depth and variation that shift with the light.
A shadow line detail at the base creates a sense of levitation, allowing the mass of the form to feel unexpectedly light within the space.
Accompanying the dining setting, a custom terrazzo coffee table was developed to echo and extend this material language. With a full marble reveal, it offers a more expressive counterpoint, while maintaining the same sculptural restraint and balance.
Together, the pieces establish a quiet dialogue between weight and lightness, texture and refinement, reinforcing a sense of permanence within the interior.
